Airplane Nursery Idea

It took me forever to figure what I wanted to do for Bryce's nursery. Then I had my airplane nursery idea. My mom did the clouds. She used the coral sponge that you can find anywhere. Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, and just sponged it with white paint in the different cloud shapes.

The primary decor element in this baby nursery is the clouds painted on the wall. As Chastity mentioned this basic paint effect can be achieved by sponging white paint onto the wall with a coral sponge.

If you would like a brighter nursery option, you could try painting the bottom half of the wall burgandy or navy blue or with white and burgandy stripes.

Personally, I like this simple, uncluttered nursery design, but if it's a bit too basic for your taste try adding a few airplane wall decals or stickers between the clouds. Framed posters of wartime airplanes would make great wall art. How about an airplane lamp to finish it off? If you're feeling adventurous you could even paint a mural!

If you like the idea of clouds but you don't want to paint them, try using cloud stickers. Just peel and stick!
