Fortunately baby furniture recalls don't occur that often, but you need to be aware of them when they do.

Unsafe toy boxes in particular have proven to be deadly in the past when babies' heads have become stuck between the toy box and its lid cutting off the baby's air supply. It can happen so easily when curiosity begins to take over your little one's body. Make sure the environment they are so excited to explore is safe for them.

This report covers recalls of changing tables, dressers, toy chests, storage bins, tables and chairs, beanbags and bunk beds.
