Baby Girl Gender Neutral Nursery

As soon as I found out I was having a girl, I knew I wanted a gender neutral nursery. I'm not really into frilly pink and purple style girl rooms. I went with bold gender neutral colors and patterns that were bold, but still a bit feminine.

What brand and color of paint did you use?

Paint is Royal Navy by Valspar.

If you added stripes, polka dots or other paint effects, tell us how you did it.

Bedding patterns are all different patterns and colors, chosen by my husband and I. All custom bedding was made by a friend.

What brand of crib did you buy? Where from?

Crib is Fischer Price and from Amazon.

What brand of nursery furniture did you choose? Where did you buy it?

Rocking Glider is from Babies R Us.

What nursery bedding set did you use? Where did you buy it?

Bedding is custom made by a friend.

Tell us about your window treatments, nursery lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade?

Shelves, mirror and lamp all from Home Goods and rug is from Rugs USA.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves?

Diapers, wipes and lotions are all in white basket sitting on top of the white dresser that doubles as a changing table.

How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part?

Took us a couple months, my husband painted and put together the crib, we both picked out the fabrics and I shopped for all accessories and put everything together. It was really fun to design it together!

Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do?

My husband and I - team work!

What do you love most about your little one's finished baby room?

I love that it is gender neutral and modern and I love that my husband and I created this space together.
