We were inspired by the Oilo Sticks Crib Bedding Collection in Pewter on csnbaby.com. The design is very different and modern. We adapted what they had to add brighter colors into the room by incorporating orange decor, mainly centered around a basketball theme.

What brand of crib and furniture did you buy? Where from? Silver Lake Collection from Simmons kids. Bought at Buy Buy Baby. You can still get this set; however the style crib we have has been discontinued. There is a different model currently selling with the furniture.
Tell us about your window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories. Where did you buy them - were any handmade? The white and gray curtains on the sides were purchased at Walmart from the Your Zone collection. The middle orange curtain is from Burlington Coat factory.

How did you store all your baby goodies? In baskets, on shelves? All of the baby stuff is kept in the drawers of all of the dressers or in his closet.
How long did it take you? Was it easy, fun, difficult? What was your favorite part? The room was painted and the furniture delivered by Buy Buy Baby and put together all in the same day. The accessories were bought over a period of a couple weeks. It was very fun, I think our favorite part is looking at the final result.
Did you do the entire nursery on your own or did someone help you? Who? What did they do? My mother painted the room and my step father installed the light fixture. Buy Buy Baby representatives put the furniture together.
What do you love most about your little one's finished room? Everything! I think what we like most is that it is very different from what you normally see; very unique.
