Down on the Farm Nursery

We live on a farm, his Daddy has just started farming this year, so it just seemed natural o do a farm themed nursery.

We used Lowes brand paint for the walls, a warm green and blue to match the green and blue in the Nojo farm babies bedding. For the mural we used acrylic paints of assorted colors.

My mom and I painted hills on the walls by drawing them with chalk then using a roller. We painted the murals using stencils bought from mywonderfulwalls.com

We bought the Rockland covertible crib and furniture from Jcpenney.

The curtains are also NoJo, from BabiesRus. The wall decor are mural paintings. We have farm animals and artificial hay bales sitting around also.

Things are stored in the changing table/dresser. Also on the shelves of the hutch. We have some wicker baskets for the blankets and towels.

The wall painting took 2 days. The mural painting took 7 straight hours one Saturday then a few more hours here and there to finish up.

My mom painted the walls. I didn't want to be around the smell of the paint. My grandmother bought the bedding and curtains. My mom and I painted the murals while my grandmother helped us decide where to put everything. My mom and dad bought the furniture and dad surprised us by delivering it while we were painting the murals.

I love the room because it is so sweet! It isn't too babyish but it still has the nursery qualities. I love the farm animals, they all seem to have their own personalities. The barn is so cute!

I can't wait to teach Baby Brayden all about the animals on his walls.

I love that his room has so much love put into it from everyone in the family.
