Enchanted Nursery Rhyme Nursery

I wanted to create a magical room for my little princess to come home to. I wanted it to feel like an enchanted forest but also have a fairytale theme.

The room was created so that it will keep her interest as she gets older. Being a preschool teacher, I felt it important to add a few natural learning experiences in the room.

Humpty Dumpty is on the castle wall over the crib, Jack and Jill are by the changing table as well as silver bells and cockle shells-from Mary Mary Quite Contrary. The three blind mice are under the window running into their hole as well.

Scattered through the room are butterflies and birds. The bedding is a simple light pink. The bedroom set is also a lifetime crib so it will turn into a double bed and it was chosen because it reminded me a princess bed with crystal balls on it. I bought it at Babies R Us. It is the Disney Princess Crib.

If you want to create a nursery rhyme baby nursery, check out ababy.com's Nursery Rhymes theme section - you get 10% discount if you buy any three or more items from the same theme!

Thanks so much for the comments! It may sound silly, but this room is so relaxing to me and peaceful, I sit in here just to relax...
and you can for sure do it all in your room...
that's fantasy.

Love it
