Pooh and Friends Baby Room Colors

Here are a few ideas for baby room colors that will suit a Winnie the Pooh theme:
  • Pale yellows, greens and blues are perfect for a classic Pooh nursery.
  • A neutral beige works well as a background for the brighter colors of the Disney Winnie the Pooh characters.
  • Try pink and lilac if you want a more girly feel - imagine Pooh Bear among the flowers and bees.
  • For a little boy a pale blue background is perfect.
  • Try orange, black and white with lots of bouncing Tiggers for a modern feel.

Winnie the Pooh Baby Room Coordinating Nursery Decorations

Make your Pooh and Friends nursery design burst with fun by mixing in some of these coordinating nursery decorations:
  • Honey Pots
  • Flowers
  • Honey Bees
  • Butterflies
  • Kites
  • Vegetables from Rabbit's garden
You can easily add these items by painting or adding stickers to the baby nursery walls, or by incorporating them in parts of your decor such as drawer knobs or ceiling fan pulls.

Winnie the Pooh Nursery Decorating Ideas

There are lots of fun ways to spin your Winnie the Pooh nursery decorations. Here are a few ideas that you can base your theme around:
  • Have Pooh and his friends playing together in the Hundred Acre Wood. They could be playing with sticks in the steam or climbing up a tree to look for honey for Pooh.
  • Paint Pooh and friends having a tea party around the table at Kanga's house. Don't forget to include colorful but wobbly looking cakes and treats!
  • Send everyone outside for a picnic. Paint a big red and white picnic blanket under a tree with lots of delicious goodies on it.
  • Concentrate on Lumpy and Roo - have them splashing around in the pond with Lumpy spraying water from his trunk.
  • How about using Rabbit's vegetable garden as a starting point - include a wheel barrow and spade and lots of carrots.
  • For something different you could base your Winnie the Pooh nursery theme around the Tigger Movie. How about painting the snow covered family tree?
  • If you want to keep it simple you can stick Pooh Bear wall decals on the nursery walls and just paint in a few flowers and bees.
  • Another idea is to paint a series of honey pots going across one wall. Spell out your baby's name by including one letter on the label of each honey pot.
  • Make sure to add a few Winnie the Pooh storybooks to your baby's bookshelf. You'll spend countless wonderful hours reading them together.

  • Don't forget to add a few Pooh and Friends soft toys around the nursery room!
