Nursery Theme Ideas

I've got an idea I'd like to share. Hopefully, it sparks your imagination.

A great way to find a stimulating nursery theme for your infant is to start by thinking of a simple concept that you find stimulating. This project is completely capable of bringing out your creativity. The absolute best part is that, no matter how bad it might look at the end, the love you've infused is far more significant and much longer lasting than any coat of paint could ever be.

So, to start, think of a soothing thought. Picture yourself in the utmost serene environment you can imagine. Now, how would you translate this into a latex paint wall mural? If I told you, that would mean you'd be skipping some of the most important parts!

I can imagine myself on a beach at sunrise, with a cool salty breeze blowing through my hair. The most striking parts of this mental image are the brilliant orange hues of the sunrise, the striking marine blue-green tints of the sparkling water, and the coarse sand.

I would create an incarnation of this mental safe-place just by getting a couple cans of latex paint (modern paint is wonderfully non-toxic. As long as the labeling doesn't indicate otherwise, this could even been done by an expectant mother!)

Next, I'd just get out my palette, try mixing different shades together, and just translating my mind's eye-view onto the wall. No one could ever tell me it's wrong. I could use sponges and brushes and rollers, and whatever else I could think of for whatever effects I find I can create. I could also get some actual beach sand and impregnate it into the paint.

The nursery should be your unique version of soothing, without neglecting function. You will, after all, be making plenty of visits to lovingly complete many tasks here.
