Princess Butterflies Nursery

My Princess Butterflies Nursery was inspired by my dream of having a round crib and having my baby girl's room be a magical getaway. My husband painted the room in a light, mellow yellow, pink and purple, and added white molding along the bottom half of the room.

I bought the Angel Line cherry wood round crib and changing table online. Then I found a JoJo bedding set online with a french theme.

The rocking chair was my sister's previously. I refurbished it and stained it with a cherry wood stain and then reupholstered it. I found the book shelf at a thrift store and I stripped and painted it a very light yellow.

My mom and I customized the window treatments by adding pink ruffles to the bottoms and we made a picture board out of the left over fabric. My best friend and I spray painted white magnetic butterflies pink and purple to hang on the walls. We were able to use butterflies that you find in the garden section and attached them to the wall as if they were floating. I spelled my baby's name on the wall with pastel glass letters.

My Princess Butterflies Nursery took the better part of my pregnancy but it was fun because I was able to hand make a lot of the stuff in it. My sister and I pulled it all together.

The room is exactly what I dreamed of having. It is like it is her princess tower.
