Serene Green Gender Neutral Nursery

We bought a crib bedding set from Pottery Barn Kids "Twinkle, Twinkle" collection. It includes stars and animals. We based our Serene Green Gender Neutral Nursery around the bedding and incorporated these themes throughout the room.

We painted with Benjamin Moore's "Neon Celery". We used Wainscotting and crown molding. It was purchased from Menards and painted antique white.

The crib is the Pali "Katie", it was given to us by a family member. Most of the other furniture was also given to us by family members. Our glider is from Shermag. The bookshelf and nightstand are from Target.

The sheers on the window were hand made. The gingham blackout drapes were from Pottery Barn. The hardware and double rod was from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

We installed a Closet shelving unit for storage, and also purchased bins from Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target.

The nursery took us about 6 weeks from start to finish. The crown molding and wainscotting were the hardest parts. We really loved adding each element and seeing it all come together.

We did everything except the wainscotting and molding on our own. Our brother-in-law helped us with that.

I love that the nursery is perfect for a boy or girl (we don't know our baby's gender), also it has a calming effect when you enter the room.
